German Grandmaster (2003). Silver medal at the German U20 in 1996 and 1997, 8^th at the World U20. Best results: 1^st at Leuven 1998, 1^st Paks Atom GM 1998, 3^rd Woerishofen 2000, Leinfeld 2002, 2^ndStofer Open 2002, 1^st at Griesheim Testa GM 2004. These days he plays mostly league games in Germany, France and Austria. He lost a match to Peter Leko 4-2 in 1999 . Best ELO 2596 in 1999.
