Bukic Enver (02.12.1937-24.02.2017)

Slovenian Grandmaster (1976) born in Serbia, citizen of Slovenia since 1992. Slovenian Champion in 1993 and in 1998.

In the 1970’s he was a member of the Yugoslav national team which won two Silver and one Bronze medals at the European Team Championships.

About 25 years ago when he was coaching in Kuwait, he became blind due to some exotic tropical disease.

Best results: Winner or shared first at Vrsac 1975, Uljma 1976, Stip 1976, Tulsa 1979, Bled festival 1991,1992 and 1993, Vasaj Pirc Memorial 1993.

Peak rating: 2500 in 1976, he is not active since the last 20 years.
