 German city which hosted 3 international tournaments. The first tournament was organized to celebrate the 25th jubilee of the club foundation in 1902. It saw the success of David Janowski 13½-17 ahead of Harry Pillsbury 12 and Henry Atkins 11½. The second tournament was organized in 1926, Aron Nimzovitch was the winner with 6½ out of 7 ahead of Akiba Rubinstein 6 and Walter van Holzhausen 4. The third tournament which celebrated the 100 Year Jubilee of the club saw the victory of Istvan Csom with 8½ /11 ahead of Jan Adamski and Raymond Keeene with 8 points.
