U.S. Grandmaster (1978) born in Greece who played chess in Canada winning two national titles in 1972 and 1975 then moved to the USA. He was the owner of a firm that develops software for the investment industry.
In the 1978 Olympiad, he was awarded a silver medal for the second best individual performance at board 2 and a bronze medal for the third best performance at board 4 in 1972. Best results: Won the US Junior Open 1971, Norristown 1973, Calgary 1975, World Open Philadelphia 1978, Seattle 1980, Los Angeles Bagby Memorial 1985.
A participant in the 1972, 1974, 1976 and 1978 Olympiads with the Canadian team. A participant in the 1973 and 1976 Interzonals. Peak rating: 2485 in 1977. Retired from international chess in the late 1980’s.
