Bettman Henri Wald (14.01.1865 – 05.12.1935)

US problemist, founder and director of the College of Medicine of the University of Cincinnati. One of the greatest ‘taskmaster’ of the 1930’s. He showed great interest in promotion and was the one of the first who composed a Babson task. He has 2 brothers, Edgar and Jacob also composers.
