Swedish Grandmaster born in Spain (1979). Spanish Champion in 1969, 1971, 1974, 1977, 1982 and 1989. Coach. After a dispute with the Spanish Chess Federation in 2018, he decided to play for Sweden.

Best results: Won or shared first in Lanzarote 1975, Torremolinos  1978, Alicante 1979, Barcelona 1981, Benidorm 1982, Medina del Campo 1983, Bern and Osterkar in 1995, Santa Clara 1997, Cuba G. Garcia Memorial 1999, Mislata 1999 and 2000 and Genova Open in 2000, Stockholm in 2013.
A participant to the Olympiads from 1970 until 1992.

Married to Pia Cramling, his daughter Ana is also a chess player.
