Bazlov Yury Vasilievich (06.10.1947)
Russian chess composer (1983). A journalist. Participant of several USSR Individual Championships (the winner of the 15th Chess Compositions Championship, 1984) and various competitions where he collected at least 40 awards (including 16 first prizes). Since 1962 has published about 100 studies. Bazlov’s studies are characterized by an idea disguised with dynamic play of all chessmen, presence of non-obvious thematic false trace, original counter play of the Blacks.
