Avrukh-BorisIsraeli Grandmaster (1998) born in Kazakhstan. Moved to Israel in 1995 then to the USA in 2014. Coach. Israeli Champion in 2000 and 2008. World Champion U12 in 1990, 2nd at Euro U14 championship in 1991. .

Avrukh plays for the national team since 1998 and collected a gold medal for the best individual performance at board 6 at the 2000 Olympiad and bronze medal at board 4 at the 2006 Olympiad 2006. A member of the team who finished second at the 2008 Olympiad and at the European Team Championship in 2003 and 2005.

Won or shared first at the USSR U14 championship, Antwerp Open in 1999, Paris championship in 1997 and 1999, Beersheba in 1996, Andorra Open, (co) Biel Open in 2001, 2004 and 2006, Kavala Open in 2003, Villa de Benidorm in 2008, Politiken Cup, Zurich Open 2009, Alghero Open 2011.
