Scottish Grandmaster (2009) and Women Grandmaster (1987) born in Georgia. World Girls U20 Champion in 1985. USSR-Women’s Champion in 1990, Champion of Scotland in 2011, vice British Champion in 2006 and four times British Women Champion. She took the Bronze at the European Women Championship in 2001.
She has also participated successfully in three USSR Championships: 1984-3-5th, 1986-2-3rd, 1987-3rd.
Other results: Zonal FIDE 1985 11-12th, Interzonal in Tuzla 1987- 2nd, candidates’ tournament at Zhaltubo 1988 – 8th, Petrkuv-Trybunalska 1985- 2nd, Tbilisi 1985,87 –1st, Madras 1987- 4th, Hasting 93-94 -3rd, Wijk aan Zee 2002-4th.
She participated in the Olympiads since 1990. With the Soviets and the Georgian she has won in total 9 Olympiad medals, and including two team and three individual gold medals. Since 2008 she is playing for Scotland.
