Israeli Grandmaster (1992), born in Ukraine. Computer-analyst and coach. Soviet U20 Champion in 1990 also came second in the Israeli Championships of 1994.
Best results: Winner or shared first in the Soviet Union Junior Championship in 1987, Munich Open in 1991/92, Komotini in 1992, , Lee Cup Beijing in 1995 and 1997, Rishon le Zyion in 1996, Bad Homburg in 1996. He participated in the 1997 World Championship. He also came 2nd at Struga zonal in 1995, Rishon Le Zyion in 1995 and Recklinghausen 1998.
A participant in the 1992, 1994 1996 and 1998 Olympiads.
In 2000, he left chess for a computer business. A member of the Junior software team which won several computer World Championship titles, author of the popular “Gambit Guide” course on ICC. Retired from international chess, he is currently running a chess academy in Israel.
