Swedish Grandmaster (1997) born in Belarus. Graduated in Economics in 1994.

Nordic Champion in 2003 and 2005. He was the Swedish Champion in 1998, 2001, 2003 and 2004. After being three times Belarus Youth Champion, he moved to Sweden in 1994. Won or shared first at Perenyi Memorial (HUN) in 1997, Alberville in 2001, Nordic Zonal in 2000, Grieshein GM and Nordisk Masterskab in 2003, European Union championship in 2010. A member of the national team since 1998 and a participant in the 2004 World Championship and 2005 World Cup. He is married to WIM Svetlana Agrest. Best ELO: 2616 in 2003.
