Hungarian Chess Grandmaster (1998).

World Junior Chess Champion (2001). European U12 Champion, Hungarian U14 Champion and U16 Champion. Also a bronze medalist at the World U16 championship in 1996.

Best results: First Saturday Budapest in 1997 and 1998 and Budapest GM in 1999, 1st;  Essent tournament 2002 in Hoogeveen, 1st; Pardubice 2002, 2nd; Gyorgy Marx Memorial 2007 in Paks, 1st;

A regular player with the national team between 1997 and 2004 he was awarded a Silver medal for the best performance at the Mitropa Cup in 2000. He was also a participant in the 2002 and 2004 Olympiads and in the World Championship 2004.
