Dens Grandmaster (2007) who was playing for some time for Scotland. Author of many books. Aagaard was British Champion in 2007, Scottish Champion in 2012 and 2005 without title and vice-champion of Scotland in 2004. Chairman of the FIDE Title commission (2018-)
Best results: Hampstead IM 1997, 1st; Arco di Trento (ITA) 2004, 2007 and 2010, 1st.
A participant in the 2006 and 2008 Olympiads with Scotland and then with Denmark since 2012.
