OratovskyIsraeli Grandmaster (2002) born in Moldova and living in Spain. At the age of 13  he became Moldovian champion under 20. Second in the 1989 USSR Youth Championship. Student at Botvinnik-Kasparov chess school (1986-1988).

Best results: European U18 1993, 4th-6th; Cannes Martinez Open in 1996, 1st; Maccabiah Games (ISR) 1993, 1st-2nd; Tel Aviv ASA 1993, 1st-3rd; Balaguer Open 2001, 1st-3rd; Lisbon Open 2001, 1st-2nd; Albacete Open 2002, 1st; Albacete 2002 1st;  Bad Wiessee 1-5th with K.Landa, L.Aronian, V.Malakhov, I.Khenkin (more than 40 GM,performence 2872) Cerler 2004, 1st; Benasque 0pen 2005, 2nd; Ascona 2011, 1st.

Between 2002-2004 he coached the Women’s World Champion Antoaneta Stefanova.
