German Grandmaster (1997) born in Romania. European Champion 2005, German Champion in 2017, Romanian Champion in 1997 and 2002. Romanian U20 Champion (1995). Semi-finalist in the 1999 World Chess Championship. Fourth in the World U20 in 1996.
