Milić Borislav (20.10.1925 – 27.05.1986)

Serbian Grandmaster (1977). Colonel and graduated in law.
Milic was awarded silver and bronze medals for the team performance in the Olympiads of 1952 and 1956 and two silver medals for the team performance in the European Team Championships in 1957 and 1961. He was 14 times a participant in the Yugoslavian championship with the best achievement made in 1945 – fourth place.

Best results: Belgrade 1949, 1^st; Belgrade 1966, 1^st-3^rd; Dortmund 1951, 2^nd-3^rd; Vienna 1951-52, 2^nd-4^th; Beverwijk 1955, 1^st; Ljubljana 1955, 2^nd; Krynitsa 1956, 1^st; Madrid 1961, 1^st-2^nd; Sarajevo 1961, 3^rd-4^th.

Co-founder of Chess Informant publications, serving there as a senior editor and writer.
