Azerbaijani Grandmaster. The first Grandmaster in Azerbaijan. Coach. Graduated in mathematics.

Tied for first at the last USSR championship in 1991. Won many local tournaments including in Tunis in 1984 and the UAE Open in 2006.

Magerramov was a member of Kasparov’s team during the World Championship match in 1984.

Peak rating: 2580 in 1994.
