Best results: Dutch Championship 2004, 4^th. Won or shared first at Utrech Open; Bossum Open 2003; Gausdal 2004; Soest 2004; Vlessingen 2005; Bethune Open 2006; Dutch Open 2007; Capelle la Grande 2008, 1-8^th, Univ Open 2010 (HOL), 1-5^th. Also European Individual 2008, 2^nd.

A participant in the 2006 and 2010 Olympiads and in the 2005, 2007 and 2009 European Team Championships.

Coached by Chuchelov, he is a member of Topalov’s working team since 2009. Best ELO: 2628 in 2010.
