Kudrin Sergey (07.09.1959)
American Grandmaster (1984). Kudrin was born in Russia the immigrated to the USA in 1978. Graduated in Mathematics.
Kudrin has collected many first prizes in U.S. Opens, including the National Open in 1982, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1993 and 2003, the New York Open in 1983 and 1985 and the North American Open in 1995 and 1996. He also won in Manchester in 1981 and 1982, Gausdal and Copenhagen in 1983, Beer Sheva and London in 1984, Torremolinos 1985, Martigny 1987, Las Palmas and Bayswater 1988, Salamanca and Las Palmas in 1989, Ontario and Boston in 1998, World Open 2000 and the Continental Open in 2006 and 2007.
In 2008, Sergey took third place in the Frank K. Berry United States Chess Championship. Twice, in 2008 and 2009, he finished runner-up to GM-elect Alex Lenderman in the USCF Grand Prix standings. A participant in the 1999 and 2004 World Championships and in the 2005 World Cup.
