Kraidman Yair (01.11.1932)

Kraidman-YairIsraeli Grandmaster (1965) and a former controller accountant of the Ministry of Finance.

Even though Kraidman has never won the Israeli Championship, he did achieve second place in this event in 1959.  He was also a member of the national team who shared first at the World Senior Team Championship in 2004.

He played for Israel in ten Olympiads between 1958 and 1976.  His best result was at Lugano, 1968, where he won a silver medal for the second-best score on board three.
It was at the 1964 Tel Aviv Olympiad that he gained the International Master title and then won the Grandmaster title by coming equal second in Netanya 1975 and equal first in Beersheva 1976.

Best result: winner at Duncan Lawrie in London 1988.
