Jansa Vlastimil (27.11.1942)

Czech Grandmaster (1974) and coach. World Senior Senior Champion 2018 (+65) who was Czech Champion 1974 and equal first in 1964 and 1984.  Jansa was also a silver medallist at the 2005 and 2010 World Senior championships. He participated in 10 Olympiads between 1964 and 1986 and won a team silver medal in 1982.

Best results: winner or shared first at Madonna di Campiglio 1973 Amsterdam 1974, Trnava 1982, was equal first at Kragujevac 1984, equal first at Prague Zonal 1985 (X) and equal first with Carsten Hansen at Borgarnes 1985, first at Gausdal, August 1987 and 1988, Luxemburg and Bandeweller 1990, Munster, Hamburg 1992, Cattolica 1993 and Lazne in 1997.

Peak rating : 2525 in 1995.
