Kazakh Grandmaster (1997). Bronze medal for the 3^rd best individual score at the 1995 Asian Team Championship.

A participant in the Olympiads between 1992 and 1998, in two World U16 championships in 1992 and 1993 where he finished 7^th and in the World U20 championships in 1995 and 1996 where he finished 4-8^th.

Best results: Ashkabad GM 1996, 2-4^th. Retired from international chess since 2004. Best ELO: 2552 in 1999.
