Azerbaijan Grandmaster (1998). Co-Azerbaijan champion in 1996. Coach in Qatar for 5 years.

Best results: Baku 1983, 2^nd; Teheran Open 1991, 2-4^th; Ankara 1997, 2^nd.

A participant in the 1998 Olympiad at board one. Retired from international chess in 2000 he died three years later.

Peak rating: 2513 in 1999.
