Romanian Grandmaster. Coach. Vice champion of Romania in 2007. Balkan U18 Champion in 1990. Won or shared first at Val Thorens 1992, Goetziz II 1995, Genova Open 1999, Arco in 2003, Memorial Ungureanu 2004, Condom Open (FR)2006. Also Bucharest Juventus 2002, 2nd; Bucharest King Cup 2003, 2nd; Bucharest International 2007, 1-3rd; Condom Open (FRA) 2007, 1st. A participant in the 2000 and 2004 Olympiads. Best ELO: 2538 in 2007.
