Franco Ocampos Zenon (12.05.1956)

franco-zParaguayan Grandmaster (1991) and coach.  Franco Ocampos won the gold medal for the best performance at board one at the 1982 Olympiad, was the Pan American Champion in 1981 and Spanish co-champion in 1999.

From 1976, Franco Ocampos was a regular participant in the Olympiads with Paraguay and Spain.  He is an experienced chess trainer, his most notable pupil being Paco Vallejo.
