Anagnostopoulos Dimitri (11.06.1970)

Greek Grandmaster (1996) who lived in England for some time where he participated in two British chess championships, before going back to Greece, to settle again, in 1996.He won the Bronze medal at the Greek Championships in 1996 and came fourth at the European Chess Championship U20 in 1994.

Best results:  Best results: Berga Open in 1994, 1st; Karditsa in 1996, 1st; Papanastasio in 1996, 1st; Ano Liosia in 1997, 1st; Thessaloniki in 1997, 3rd; MSO Masters Ron Banwell- England, 2001, 2nd.

A participant in the 1996 Olympiad and in the European Team Championship in 1997.

Peak rating: 2515 in 1996. He retired from chess in 2006.
