Swiss International Master who was Swiss Champion in 1966. Winner of two Swiss Cup tournaments.
A participant in 10 Olympiad between 1952 until 1982. At the 1954 Olympiad, he was awarded a silver medal for the second best performance at board 4.
Best results: Zagreb Junior Tournament, 1st with B. Larsen; Biel Open 1968, 1st.
