Jayson Gonzales (1969), a Filipino Grandmaster who was vice champion of Philippines in 2016.
Igor Nataf (1978), a French Grandmaster and coach who won few French youth champion titles.
Lázaro Bruzón Batista (1982), a Cuban Grandmaster who was World Junior Champion, two-time American Continental champion, two-time Iberoamerican champion and five-time Cuban champion.

DEATHS

Isidor Gunsberg (02.11.1854-1930), an English Master born in Budapest, published 104 problems in the ‘Daily Telegraph’ in 1915. Famous for his Gunsberg counter attack, defense, and variation.
Olaf Barda (17 .08.1909-1971), a Norwegian International Master who was the first Norwegian awarded an International title.

CHESS EVENTS
