DEATHS

Alexander Kevitz (01.09.1901-1981), an American player who was ranked  third on the first USCF rating list in 1951.

1953 Vassily Smyslov of USSR won the Candidates Tournament in Zurich losing only one game against Alexander Kotov USSR.
2008 24.10 In Kallithea, Greece, the teams of URAL Sverdlovskaya and CE Monte Carlo won the European Club Cup 2008 for men and women.
2015 24.10 In Skopje, FYROM, the teams of Siberia (RUS) and Nona Batumi (GEO) became  the winners of the European Club Cup.
