DEATHS

Max Lange (07.08.1832-1899), a German player, President of the German Chess Federation, chess composer and an editor of the Deutsche Schachzeitung.
Petar Trifunovic (31.10.1910-1980),  a Serbian grandmaster who played for Yugoslavia in seven Olympiads between 1935 and 1962.
Elmars Zemgalis (23.09.1923-2014), an American honorary Grandmaster and mathematician born in Latvia.
