Rapaire Jean Michel (16.03.1965)

Monegasque chess amateur, president of the Monaco Chess Federation since 1991 and president of the Cercle d’Echecs de Monte Carlo since 1990. Chief dealer at the Monte Carlo Casino. A member of the national team since 1996, he has participated in two Olympiads in 1996 and 2006. Former President of the Max Euwe Association of Monaco.

Rapaire was the organizer of the Women’s Candidates final match between Sz. Polgar and Nana Ioseliani in 1993, the Women’s World Championship between Xie-Jun and Ioseliani in 1993, Tournoi des Petits Etats and European Small States Championship in 1993, 1995 1997, 2013, 2015 and 2020, the European Women’s Individual Championship 2015 and European Rapid and Blitz 2019.
