Loewenton Leon (06.01.1888 – 23.09.1963)

Romanian composer awarded with the title of International Judge for Chess Composition in 1956. He was specialized mainly in heterodox problems: Helpmates, Reflex-mates.

He composed about 1200 problems.

He replaced G. Leon Martin as responsible for retrograde analysis section in Europe- Echecs in 1963.
