Kniest Peter (15.12.1914 – 15.12.1993)

German problemist and editor for more than 40 year of the famous Swalbe magazine.

International Judge for Compositions in 1959 and International Master for Chess compositions in 1975. Kniest has composed more than 500 problems mostly Fairy.

Brother of Albert Henrich (1908-1984) 6,000 Fairy problems composed and Alfred (1013-1966) who were also well known problemist.
