Hartong Jan (11.02.1902 – 29.01.1987)

Dutch chess composer, International Master for Chess Compositions in 1959, International Arbiter for Chess Composition in 1956. He composed under the pseudonym, S. Cardozo.

Since 1917 has published about 950 two and three-movers problems and fairy problems, more than 400 of them were awarded with merits.
