Bron Vladimir Akimovic (14.09.1909 – 01.10.1985)

Ukrainian Grandmaster in Chess Composition (1975) and IJC (1956), he worked in all orthodox genres with equal success. In 1955-1975 he was one of the leading problem solvers.

Bron has published more than 500 problems. His best works were collected in the complete works “Collected etudes and tasks.” (Moscow, 1969). He was one of the leading scientists of the refractory industry.
