Marx György Memorial
Hungarian chess festival which includes grandmaster tournament, women tournament and Opens organized since 2004 in the city of Paks in Hungary to commemorate Professor Marx György (25.05.1927-02.02.2002) a well known Hungarian physicist, astrophysicist, science historian and professor. The winners were: 2004 Viktor Korchnoi, 2005 Zoltan Almasi, 2006 Pentala Harikrishna, 2007 Petr Acs, 2008 Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, 2009 Zoltan Almasi, 2010, Viktor Laznicka, 2011 Radoslaw Wojtaszek.
