Argentine International Master (1953) and chess composer born in Austria. Austrian Champion in 1937. A member of the German team who in 1939 like many other decided to stay in Argentina because of the WWII outbreak.
Best results: winner of the Trebitsch Memorial at Vienna in 1931 and 1932, equal first at Linz in 1934, second after Szabo at Tatatovaros in 1935 and finished 5th at Carlsbad in 1929.
Editor of the Wiener Schachzeitung from 1926 to 1935.
