Velimirovic-Dragoljub Serbian Grandmaster (1973) and Composition Grandmaster in 1984. Longtime coach and second to Svetozar Gligoric.

Played in the Yugoslav Championship 25 times and was the winner or prize-holder in 1970 and 1975.

Best results: won the FIDE Zonals in Pryadi-Rosha 1978 and Becic 1981, Zemun 1980, Titograd 1984, Vtschaz 1985 and 1987, Metz Open 1988.

He participated in six Olympiads from 1974 to 1990 and was awarded a silver medal for the second best performance at board 5 in 1974.

Best ELO: 2575 in 1986.
