Dutch Grandmaster (1998). Dutch Vice Champion 2001. A member of the National Team which won the gold at the European Team Championship in 2001. A participant in the 2002 and 2004 Olympiads. Won Haarlem Open in 1988 and the Dutch Open Championships in 1998 and 2007. Best individual score in the 2005 Bundesliga with 7½/8 (93.75%). Best ELO: 2615 in 2003.
