Bartolovic Hrvoje (15.06.1932 – 03.11.2005)

Croatian chess composer. International GM for Chess Composition in 1980 and International Judge for Chess Compositions in 1956. Chairman of the Union of the Problemists in Yugoslavia. Engineer. Has published more than 400 problems since 1977, mostly two-movers and record problems, 150 of them were awarded with distinctions and in 70 cases with first prizes. It included “Complete Mansfield – The collected chess problems of Grandmaster Comins Mansfield MBE.” Vol I-III, 1996, 1997, 1999.
