Spasov Vasil Vasilievic (17.02.1971)

Bulgarian Grandmaster (1990). Bulgarian Champion in 1990, 1997, 2000, 2003 and 2008. In 1989 he tied first with Jacek Gdanski at the World Junior Championship, but won the title after the tie-break match. Best results: Budapest 1998, 1-3^th; Izmir 2002, 2^nd; Bulgarian championship, 3^rd; Villa De Navalmorale 2010, 1-2^nd; M. Sadoveanu festival (ROM) 2011, 1-5^th. A participant in eight Olympiads between 1990 and 2006. Best ELO: 2615 in 1998.
