Rausis Igor (07.04.1961)

Latvian born Grandmaster (1993) listed for sometime under Bangladesh flag (2003-2007) and for some years  under Czech Republic. Accused of cheating, his title was revoked by the FIDE Ethics Commission in 2019.

Won or shared first in the Saint-Martin 1991, Moscow 1992, Las Palmas Open 1995, Gausdal 1995, Hard of Finland 1996, Willbach Open 1997, Cairo 2001, Linz Open 2003, North Sea Cup 2006, Basel Xmas 2007, Monastir 2008, Charleroi 2009, Dieppe Open 2010, Uxbridge 2009 and 2010, Kurz-Open Braunschweig 2011.
With Latvia he participated in the Olympiads in 1996, 1998 and 2002. Peak rating: 2582 in 2000.
