Radjabov-TeimourAzerbaijani Grandmaster (2001). Best Azerbaijan player at the beginning of the twenty-first century. World Champion U12 in 1998. European Champion U10 in 1996 and 1997, U12 in 1998 and U18 in 1999. Bronze medalist at the 2005 European Individual Championship.

Teimour started chess at 3 years and 6 months of age and was soon considered a child prodigy.

Best results: won or shared first at Budapest FSGM 2000 and 2001, Alushta 2001, Dos Hermanas 2005, Ordix Open Mainz 2005, Cap d’Agde 2006, Wijk aan Zee 2007, ACP World Cup Rapid 2008 (UKR), Geneva GP 2017. In a match, he lost to Anand 3-5 in 2006.

A participant in the World Team vs Russia Tournament in 2002, in the Olympiads since 2002 and in all World Cups since 2005. He was a member of the national team which won twice the European Team Championship.
